What is a LAN party?
LAN stands for Local Area Network.A LAN party is an event where a group of gamers come together and play computer games.
Why do I have to pay?
Although this is a non-profit event, we still have costs to cover. Any excess money will be donated to the parish youth group.What equipment do you use?
We use dlink 100mb DES-1024D or similar our table switchesWe use a managed gigabit Cisco switch for our backbone.
Rules
- No Smoking, alcohol, weapons, drugs, and other illegal substances.
- No cheating/hacking/exploits.
- Hacking will result in immediate ejection, no exceptions.
- No internet besides steam. (To conserve resources)
- No speakers.
- No fighting or arguing.
- Plug in only where you are told.
- You may not host your own servers. (Due to the network constuction)
- No team killing.
- No inappropriate materials to be shown on any screen at any time.
- Failure to comply with any of the above rules may result in ejection from the event.
- Failure to comply with requests from any staff may result in ejection from the event.
